Welcome to A Little Zen

A Little Zen provides a mindful and holistic approach to counselling, coaching and psychotherapy.

 A Little Zen offers an holistic approach to traditional counselling, coaching and psychotherapy. Our services are offered in a variety of settings to meet your needs: traditional "face to face" office setting, virtually, in the ZEN DEN yoga therapy studio or outside in nature.


 Our goal at A Little Zen is to provide the tools to help you move out of suffering and into living with intention. You will learn practical skills to increase psychological flexibility and live a full and meaningful life while overcoming the physical and or emotional pain you are processing.

In addition to traditional counselling and psychotherapy approaches, A Little Zen also offers Nature Therapy (Forest Therapy and Garden Therapy) and Body-Centered Therapy (Yoga Therapy). 


Our approach is eclectic and person-centered. We see our time with you as partnership – not a client-expert relationship. By collaborating on your therapeutic journey, together we bring awareness to the things that may be acting as a barrier for change or forward movement in your life. Think of A Little Zen as your guide through the healing journey. We provide support and teach skills that will enable you to live a full life.


Our office is based in Uxbridge, Ontario, ‘the Trail Capital of Canada’, an easy scenic drive from Stouffville, Newmarket, Markham, Port Perry, Pickering and Ajax.
