A Little Zen provides a peaceful and holistic approach to counselling and coaching, to help achieve balance and wellness. Individuals have the option of outdoor sessions – which include experiential mindful movement, present moment awareness training and breath work. Nature is known to reduce anger, fear, stress, and unpleasant feelings.We facilitate person-centric exploration with ease, allowing individuals to discover their inner strength and move forward in life. 


Zenia Mihevc is a Registered Social Worker (RSW), recognized in Ontario and Alberta.  She offers counselling both in and out of the office through mindful movement, forest hikes and nature walks as well as traditional talk -based counselling. 


 Virtual Services are now offered in Ontario and Alberta!

As a Registered Social Worker, Registered Kripalu Yoga Teacher, and Mindfulness Coach my passion is to create a safe space to help individuals on their journey back to wellness. 

I offer individual and small group counselling and coaching experiences for challenges that may be related to:  

  • Depression and/or Anxiety 
  • Work/Life Balance, Burnout
  • Caregiver Stress
  • Self-Esteem
  • Life Transitions / Adjustment / Grief and Loss

My approach is eclectic and person-centered. I see our time together as partnership between two people, rather than a client/expert relationship, where we work as co-collaborators. Through this therapeutic partnership, I aim to bring awareness to that which may be a barrier for change or forward movement in your life. 

I am trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support your individual needs through various life challenges such as:
