At A Little Zen we use our holistic approach to traditional counselling and psychotherapy and combine it with mindful movement, intentional breathwork, and sensational experience. This can happen in a traditional office setting, virtually or outside in forest therapy.
You will learn practical skills to increase psychological flexibility and live a full and meaningful life while overcoming the physical and or emotional pain they are processing. Our goal at A Little Zen is to provide the tools to help you move out of suffering and into living with intention.
In addition to traditional counselling and psychotherapy options, A Little Zen also offers Forest Therapy (Nature Therapy). A Little Zen provides an opportunity for you to ‘get outside to get inside’. Nature is known to reduce anger, fear, stress, and other unpleasant feelings.
Through our forest therapy program, A Little Zen takes our holistic approach to psychotherapy and counselling outdoors to facilitate deep personal exploration and enable you to discover your inner strength. Our forest therapy sessions can include experiential mindful movement, present moment awareness training and breathwork.
Our counselling, psychotherapy and forest therapy practice is eclectic and person-centered. Our time together is a partnership – not a client-expert relationship.
